With around 9000 terms, our Agricultural Dictionary has undergone a complete revamp, is now called ‘AgroTerm’, and is available as a Web app. The new tool is more flexible, more upgradeable and more interactive than the old one. Try it for yourself and see!
AgroTerm is the result of close collaboration between Agroscope, AGRIDEA and SanoVet. Originally created as an internal working tool, AgroTerm grew over the years into an invaluable terminology list with around 9000 specialist terms in German and French, as well as English and Italian in some cases. The terms stem from the various research fields of the agriculture and food sector, and now possess a feedback function. The target audience consists of translation services, Agroscope and FOAG employees, other employees of the Swiss Confederation, and interested individuals from the agriculture and food sector as well as the general public.
