Agrometeo is a platform that summarises information and decision-support tools for the optimised application of plant protection measures in agriculture. It is based on a network of over 180 weather stations supplying microclimatic weather data for various disease and pest risk forecasting models.
Agrometeo is an important tool for optimising plant protection and reducing the use of plant-protection products in line with the aims of the Swiss federal action plan on plant protection products. With it, Agroscope contributes to the ability of producers to produce in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
