Database with food waste data (per capita and per week), personal and household characteristics of Swiss households from the German, French and Italian linguistic regions. The Swiss sample consists of total n = 515 households. The food waste was measured with a web application during seven days. Personal and household characteristics were gathered with an initial and a final survey.
