Organised for the first time in Switzerland, the FACEnetwork European artisan cheese producers’ congress brought together over 200 participants from 15 countries, from 11 to 13 October in Grangeneuve. The theme of this 13th congress: raw milk and raw-milk products.
On the agenda: tours of artisan cheese dairies and dairy farms, practical workshops, expert conferences and a grand buffet of European cheeses.
The event was organised by the Competence Centre for Raw-Milk Products – a partnership of Agroscope and Grangeneuve – and Fromarte.
It was followed on the weekend of 14-15 October by another successful event, the Grangeneuve Open Doors Days, at which some 8000 visitors took a deep dive into the world of dairy products. Agroscope was there too, naturally!
