Product Environmental Information

In the ‘Benchmarking and Monitoring of Foods’ project, Agroscope compiles representative benchmarking values for the environmental impacts of important foods that are produced in Switzerland. After a pilot phase it is intended to steadily expand the range of evaluated products. As part of quality assurance in the agriculture and food sector, Agroscope is also involved in producing life cycle inventories for the Product Environmental Footprint database of the European Commission.
