SALCAfuture is an expert system for creating LCAs for agricultural products, foods and farms in the context of research projects. It facilitates data entry by researchers or farmers and enables efficient data management as well as accurate calculations of direct emissions and the resulting environmental impacts according to the SALCA method.
The results can be easily and flexibly exported for analysis in a tool of your choice. SALCAfuture also makes it easy to understand how the results were derived. The Web interface facilitates both internal and external access by project partners via the Internet. Expansion to include other aspects of sustainability is conceptually possible.
