By promoting high-quality, healthy, enjoyable plant foods geared to the differing needs of consumers, the project aims to increase the consumption of Swiss fruit and vegetables as well as products processed from them, thereby positively influencing the health of the Swiss population.
We support producers of domestic plant products by generating and passing on knowledge with regard to specific issues from harvest to the consumer’s plate or glass. This is achieved in particular via sensory and instrumental analysis, product innovations, the surveying of consumer needs, and by researching new technologies, including non-destructive quality measurement.
