The Climate Summit in Landquart aims to show how climate-friendly production and conscious consumption go hand-in-hand. Agroscope researchers supported the pilot project scientifically and are among the speakers. Registration is until 27/11/25.
The Climate Summit at the Plantahof training centre in Landquart will take place over two days. At the Symposium on 28 November, science meets practice: researchers as well as farmers will report on their experiences in climate-friendly agriculture. Daniel Bretscher is slated to take part in the panel discussion ‘What happens after five years of climate-neutral agriculture in Graubünden?’ Sonja Kay will provide input on ‘Agroforestry: a response to climate change’. Several other Agroscope researchers, among them Elisa Manzocchi, Frigga Dohme-Meier and Cyrill Zosso, will present posters showcasing their project research and highlighting the reduction potential of various measures.
Dinner and awards ceremony
From 6.30pm on 28 November, the well-known natural food chef Rebecca Clopath will transform the Plantahof’s new dining hall into an epicurean temple.
The Public Day, which takes place 29 November, focuses on the following two questions: How will our food be produced in the future? What role does climate change play here? Again, Agroscope researchers will be showcasing their work in poster presentations, and there will be opportunities for stimulating discussions with speakers. On this day also, the Swiss Climate Prize (Prix Climat) will be awarded, with Daniel Bretscher serving on the panel of experts.
