PHENOSOY: Phänotypisierung zur Unterstützung von Selektionsentscheidungen bei Soja
Soybean is an essential protein source for both direct human consumption and fodder. Soybean breeding requires a high level of efficiency to develop adapted breeding lines in challenging environments. Phenosoy aims deploying drone-based phenotyping for breeding Swiss soybean. Robust prediction models will be established, carefully calibrated and validated in multi-environment trials, to reliably select the most promising breeding lines. Such models will improve selection for target environments in Switzerland.
