Digital Information for more-efficient Management of Greenhouse Cropping

Digital Data for the Management of Greenhouse Crops

Growing greenhouse crops efficiently is a priority owing to the urgency of the underlying environmental and social issues. This project aims to get a clear picture of the plant and fruits in vivo (in the greenhouse) in order to extract relevant information (nutrition, water, disease, lighting, etc.) to make management of the crops more efficient.  This information, which will be obtained in varied and multiple ways (different sensors), will need to be digitised and wirelessly transmitted to allow for its use in quasi-real time. These data are to be used to manage greenhouse crop production.
