The 'Preservation of Franches-Montagnes Breed and Avenches Farm' Group has a herd of equids and infrastructure for different tasks such as keeping Franches-Montagnes stallions, carrying out research projects, supporting equid breeders in their breeding work and knowledge exchange. The group is responsible for measures for preserving the genetic diversity of the Franches-Montagnes breed.
