Income Situation Sample

The income situation sample is based on the accounting data of approximately 2200 randomly selected farms. Compared to the old methodology, the random sampling procedure enables a more precise estimate of the average Swiss farm income. Furthermore it allows to publish additional information on the accuracy of the estimate and response rates. The sample collects data at farm level meaning that the analysis of production branches (also called enterprises) is not possible.

German, French, Italian
