SALCAsustain
The SALCAsustain method provides a largely quantitative evaluation of sustainability at farm level for all three dimensions of sustainability – environmental, economic and social aspects. The assessment is based on a comprehensive indicator system.
Farm sustainability assessments are increasingly being requested by consumers and wholesalers. Quantitative indicators on individual aspects of sustainability – environmental, economic and social – provide an important basis for optimising the internal management of the farm in terms of sustainability. In addition, the method helps with the analysis of synergies and trade-offs between (and within) the three sustainability dimensions.
