Targeted Use of Soil Maps for Soil Samples, Field Classification and Fertilisation
New factsheets show how practitioners, extension workers and the enforcement sector can benefit from precise soil information.
The Swiss Competence Centre for Soil (KOBO), the School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (HAFL) and Agroscope have published four factsheets:
- Soil maps for creating mixed samples within the Proof of Ecological Performance (in German and French) publ.: HAFL)
- Classification of agricultural fields based on soil maps (in German, publ.: KOBO)
- Site-specific nitrogen fertilisation based on soil maps (in German, publ.: KOBO)
- Added value of soil information for agriculture – an introduction to the factsheet series (in German, publ.: KOBO)
