Research Group Socioeconomics

The ‘Socioeconomics’ Research Group deals with the social dimension of sustainability in agriculture, setting it in relation to economic factors. In addition to conducting interviews and surveys, work economics, with its systematic recording of working-time requirement on farms, plays an important role here. The Group works methodically with time measurements and quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
