Research Group Equidae

The ‘Equidae’ Research Group is responsible for research work promoting the animal-friendly and sustainable keeping and use of horses. The focus is on animal health and behaviour, the needs of animal owners, economic efficiency and protection of the environment. Besides conducting applied research, the Group provides advice for horse owners and is active in teaching and in knowledge transfer to practice.
