Livestock Conference 2024 on Climate Protection and Climate Resilience – Register Now!

Nutztiertagung 2024

Climate change poses major challenges for livestock husbandry. This conference – hosted by Agroscope and Agridea on 26 September – will show how cattle and pig husbandry can deal with these changes.

How should feed be adapted with respect to climate change and which measures boost climate resilience in dairy farms? How can protein self-sufficiency be achieved in bovine feeding and what new insights are provided by greenhouse gas modelling?

The latest answers from research will be presented at the conference in Grangeneuve, held at the Canton of Freiburg’s Centre of Excellence for Education, Extension and Enforcement in Agriculture.

Participants will have the chance to learn about current projects and the latest findings in agricultural research and to exchange views with the researchers in a relaxed setting.
