1st European Healthy Soils Conference

The 1st European Healthy Soils Conference on soil fertility will take place in Muttenz from 13 to 15 September 2023. The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15 March.

The topic Healthy Soils is a key element of the European Soil Strategy. This first event in the European Healthy Soils Conference Series will address the importance of healthy soils and soil fertility as prerequisites for a functioning society, environment, economy and climate.

Interaction between research, industry, agriculture and authorities

The three-day conference aims to bring together soil scientists and stakeholders from industry, agriculture and the public sector to discuss the conservation of healthy soils and the associated opportunities.

If you would like to present your latest soil research, the European Healthy Soils Conference is accepting abstracts for scientific talks, workshops and posters until 15 March 2023.

The conference will take place at the FHNW School of Life Sciences in Muttenz near Basel and is being co-organized by Agroscope and the European Federation of Biotechnology.
