Higher Agricultural Income in 2016

Ettenhausen, 03.10.2017 - Compared to 2015, agricultural income in 2016 rose by 4.7 per cent to an average CHF 64,300 per farm. The main reasons for the increase were the higher prices for pork, the good grape harvest, and the less-sharp rise in outlays. Non-agricultural income increased by 2.5 per cent, with the result that total income increased by 4.2 per cent.
