Agroscope Scientific Board

The Agroscope Scientific Board is an Agroscope advisory body consisting of nationally and internationally recognised experts in agriculture, nutrition and the environment. The Scientific Board supports Agroscope in strategically important issues and aims both to ensure research that complies with international standards and to promote strong national and international networking within the scientific community.

The Agroscope Scientific Board has two main functions:

  • To identify research trends and future challenges for Agroscope;
  • To formulate recommendations for strategy development, inter alia for the development of the strategic research fields, and to guide the focus of Agroscope research activities.

The Agroscope Scientific Board meets one to two times a year.
