The ‘List of Recommended Varieties of Forage Plants' contains the best varieties for Swiss conditions. It gives the basis for high-quality grass-legume mixtures and is a very important document for the Swiss seed companies.

The „List of Recommended Varieties of Forage Plants” contains only these varieties, which yielded the best results in comparative variety trials in the field. The use of the respective varieties in the so called „standard mixtures for leys” (Swiss system of high-quality grass-legume mixtures) is mentioned.
