Delphastus catalinae

This species is a member of the class Insecta (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae). It is being used in the control of Aleyrodidae (Trialeurodes vaporariorum, Bemisia tabaci).

This species either has not been tested for endosymbiontic bacteria or nothing has been found. Still, chances of ES infections are high.
Please check closely related species (The prey Bemisia tabaci carries Rickettsia).
