Abstract: ProfiGemüse CH, which is an integrated project of ProfiCrops, aims to strengthen the competitiveness of swiss vegetable producers in the market. In order to reach this goal, the acquisition of knowledge related to technical aspects of the production and business related knowledge will be promoted and transferred into practice. Though, the interconnection of existing competences between research and consulting partners has priority. Thus, for example, questions regarding cultivation techniques could be investigated through these synergies with respect to business and occupational economics. A user survey has revealed possible improvements and as a result swiss vegetable producers profit from an improved coordination of expert conferences. ProfiGemüse CH builds trust, enhances the collaboration of partners and the synergies between partners from research, consulting and education. By the end of the project in 2013, the swiss vegetable producers should also be actively integrated.
