Agroscope Liebefeld-Posieux ALP is the competence center of the livestock feeding sector in Switzerland. In the Animal Feeding category, farmers, manufacturers of feed, veterinary surgeons, agriculturalists, environmental science specialists and other interested people can find summarized information for various types of livestock, such as dairy cows, lactating cows, pigs, sheep, goats and horses. The Feeding Recommendations chapter (green and yellow books) under the heading Feed Data Bank (password necessary) deals with the mineral and nutritive requirements of these animals. Under this heading the contents of more than 600 feeds can be found.
