Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil ACW is one of three public agricultural research institutes, which are gathered under the name Agroscope. It belongs to the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) and prepares the technical and scientific bases for an efficient, sustainable and competitive agriculture.

The ACW research station is involved in regulation of the agricultural means of production and in the protection of plant variety rights.
