Définition du conservatoire pour arbres fruitiers

Par conservatoire, on entend le lieu où est conservée la plus petite unité utilisée d'une variété admise à la certification (art. 4).
Le matériel présent dans le conservatoire doit être gardé sous certaines conditions qui:
- excluent toute contamination par les organismes nuisibles mentionnés à l'annexe 2;
le conservatoire doit donc être exempt d'insectes et de nématodes et être équipé d'un sas pour personnes
- assurer une sélection permettant la conservation des variétés (art. 13).
