Biodiversity isn’t just a six-syllable word. It’s real. It provides us with food and water and allows us to breathe. Each of us has had dealings with it at some point. Write to us about your experience with biodiversity in a short story no more than 300 words in length. Or send us a picture with a reason why biodiversity is precious for us: “We need biodiversity, because…”.

All submissions will be published* on agroscope.ch. The jury will award a prize for the three best stories or pictures:

1st Prize: A weekend for two (or for a family, if the prize goes to a child) at our holiday house in Maran.

2nd Prize: Spend a day with ART’s biodiversity research team, including a ‘meet & greet’ with Director Paul Steffen.

3rd Prize: A biodiversity dinner in Arosa.
